I liked it because it sounds like things like that can happen in the NYC area, with all the different people that come here to find their fortunes!
The book is well written, however for the average reader there are many words that need to be looked up and the author seems to have a huge love for French and French / German sayings ... so get ready to hit the "translate button"!
The latter part of the book is quite full of suspense, but the ending a big let down.
All in all a nice entertaining piece!
